Painting with a Twist, Fort Myers, Gulf Coast Town Center

My husband and I had a fabulous time trying our hand at Painting With a Twist at the Gulf Coast in Fort Myers, FL.

She’s all smiles and he’s like um, what are you getting me into? HA! but he liked it, he really liked it!

During our Painting with a Twist Experience, we painted the picture, Love Anchors the soul. My husband thought it was going to be boring and was a resistant date, however he was pleasantly surprised with the music and the instructor. We had Shannon whose upbeat character kept us on our toes.

She had an awesome playlist from Rock to R&B. I was singing as I was painting. My husband was all smiles and said to me 15 minutes in, “this is actually fun”, with a grin ear to ear. They provide you with all the supplies you’ll need. A 16×20 canvas, paintbrushes, paint and an apron.

The instructor will walk you through the steps for the painting. Don’t worry, even if you’ve never done this before, if you listen to the instructor, chances are you’ll have a lovely painting to hang and brag to your friends about.

My husband isn’t great at paying attention to the little things, he just sees the big picture and this became obvious when he painted something incorrectly. Shannon said something along the lines of , “I can tell he’s not a good listener” and we started cracking up.   She helped him fix the error, with paint and voila, he was back on track. You can bring your bottle of wine and they’ll provide an opener and cups. Paint and Sip and create some Fun Art, not Fine art!

This is an experience that you’ll want to share with all of your loved ones and friends. Enjoy a night out at the fun Gulf Coast Town Center with Restaurants Galore and make sure you check out Painting with a Twist. You can bring a group, celebrate an event like a bachelorette party, birthday or just bring a friend. You can find their class schedule on their site here and make sure to like their Facebook page so you can stay in the know with their events and promotions.

Remember, you too can make some Fun Art.  Schedule some time and leave your mark!

Thank you to Painting With a Twist Fort Myers for the free class.  We will most definitely be back!
