My heartbeats
First day of school 2014.

Today couldn’t have gone any smoother for which I am SO thankful!  My guess is that I suffered enough last year with weeks of tears and heartache.  My son was calm and collected, a far off comparison to last year.  His teacher who seems sweet, relatable and friendly had an impact as well.  When I picked him up he was smiling, said his day was GREAT!  It bought tears to my eyes.  For those of you that may not have followed me last year, I spent weeks of worrying at work, because for three weeks he cried every morning at drop off. And my daughter who’s been excited about going to VPK (aka pre-k) did me proud as well.  No tears, ready for the day and it made my day so much smoother.  I hope that everyone else who has children that started school today, started a few weeks ago or are starting soon have a joyful, calm and enjoyable school year. Here is my little girl showing the class pet her little model of herself.20140818_075526   My son had homework on our first day, it’s the big leagues now, ha! 20140818_161701   Addison received this cute gift bag from her teacher.  I love creative gifts like this with so much meaning.  Very thoughtful.   20140818_161219   This year we prepared well and had an amazing first day.  The only oopsie i’d say I made was to deliver my son’s school supply in this bag.  Do you think the teacher thinks I’m a lush, Oh My, I crack myself up. 20140818_152530
