I love starting off a new year feeling fresh and new.  What could beat the feeling of having a clean slate?  My mom taught us to prepare for the new year by having a clean living space, purging old things and bringing something new into your home that makes you feel renewed. Glade® Clean Linen® Wax Melts help me feel fresh and new.  These simple wax melts are easy to use and help brighten up my space by making it feel fresh and new. As you melt the cubes in your wax warmer, the fragrance surrounds you and provides hours of fragrance.

Scents of cleanliness leave me refreshed and help make me feel ready for a fresh start. The scent of Glade® Clean Linen® Wax Melts perfected my atmosphere and inspired me to create a blinged out vase to refresh my decor for the new year.

Growing up in a middle class family, splurging wasn’t something we did.  Yet, my mom taught us we could still have nice things.  My mom was a typical Latina mom and our flare or beliefs weren’t affected by our budget.  We still had “nice” things or as some would say “expensive” looking items.

One way we would do this was by making things ourselves.  I knew that having a strong centerpiece that would draw attention is just what I wanted to make.

Here’s what you’ll need to create a blingy, inspiring centerpiece that will make your living space feel renewed.

  1. A clear vase
  2. Faux Flowers
  3. Clear and white stones, or marbles (color of your choice)
  4. A mirror
  5. Bling on a roll
  6. Glue

  1. Place stones or marble accents into the vase to hold faux flowers in place. You can alternate stones with marbles or place all of one kind into the vase.  Make sure to try and hide the flower stems between the marbles/stones.
  2. Cut your bling on a roll to the size you like. I used the full size at the bottom and then cut one strip in half to place it in the middle and then top of vase.
  3. Glue your bling onto the vase where desired. You can use one strip or multiple strips like I did.
  4. Place your vase on top of a small round mirror.  Then surround it with stones and marbles arranged into any pattern of your choice.
