Crazy things people say
Are there any phrases people say that just get under your skin?  When you hear them your skin crawls or maybe you just don’t feel good about what they’re telling you because the phrase they’re using doesn’t really sound nice.  Sometimes a phrase may sound good in a particular moment but then they become repetitive and just empty words.  The bad thing is sometimes the phrases are so bad yet so catchy.  I’m sure I say my fair share of these, but I’m going to try my hardest to stop.  Here are 5 Phrases I just can’t stand and the kids play them out for you in the video below.  Which phrase is a pet peeve for you?

1.  You know what I’m saying?

Lord this is old, I probably don’t know what you’re saying if you’re asking me this repeatedly, you know you don’t make sense, so be clear.  Tell me a good story with details and then I’ll know what you’re saying.

2.  Good for you!

This to me sounds like, yeah, yeah, who cares, good for you.  How about, Congratulations, or I’m so happy for you, not just a good for you, because really you just sound spiteful.

3.  It is what it is.

Really, this is just a BS way of saying, oh well, you can’t change it so get over it. YES life is full of that, but do you have to rub it in?

4.  Just saying.

Oh my God I hate this one… there is no need to add a “Just saying” to the end of your every comment, just say what is on your mind without the sarcastic “Just saying”, cause really no you’re not, you’re full of indirects.

5.  Sorry, not Sorry.

So don’t freaking say you’re sorry, just say what you gotta say and boom, move on!  Don’t fake apologize.

This is so great! The one I can’t stand is “Don’t be a stranger!”…that’s like the person is clearly leaving it in your court to communicate. If you don’t want ME to be a stranger, you shouldn’t be one either, and reach out sometimes…annoying.

Agree…. “Don’t be a stranger!” is an empty comment because maybe they want to be ha!
